On Mondays, I Never Go To Work

Good morning!

No, this is not the post I promised a few days ago. That post is actually written and waiting for pictures. I don't know how to download the pictures to our new Adobe Elements the correct way (adding color coded labels for easy cross-referencing), so I'm waiting for Husband to show me...which may take a while, because today he gets his "bang-bang". Yup, the HK P2000 has arrived in all its glory, and he's picking it up this morning. I'm glad he'll have something to keep him occupied - and I'm also excited to see him in the MIDDLE of the day this very day, because he's planning on dropping by to show off the new bang-bang to my boss. I'm also hoping some lunch will be involved.

It was hard to make myself come in today after the fun-filled family extravaganza that was last week. As I got dressed and did my hair, I kept singing this song:

Then I got to my office to find roofers hard at work. Yay! Right now they're removing the old, damaged portions before installing the new. Every five minutes or so, they toss a ginormous piece of tar/shingles/leaves/dirt to the ground right outside my window. I see it just out of the corner of my eye peripherally, and I keep thinking a human body has fallen to its death...but the continued pounding and lack of screaming assures me this is not the case.

I have not stopped singing that song since your dad's house. SERIOUSLY. It seems to be the one song that has stuck in my head for GOOD.

I know what you mean. I don't know why I can't get it out of my head - but I love the way their little legs march around!

I also think my own perosnal theme song should be "E Eats Everything" ;-)

I got hooked to the title. I am still hooked to it. I like it a lot. Anyway, a good post.
